Flat Segments (also known as Wafers or Sections) generally come filled with either Polypropylene known as Poly bristles or Wire bristles.

Generally the best option is to make up a full poly broom, especially if you don’t need to replace your broom often. We also supply re-usable spacers, which makes removal of the segments much easier and they space the segments apart at a distance that is optimal for sweeping.

However for branded “Bobcat sweepers” (not other skid steers) Wobbly /convoluted broom segments are used therefore spacers are not required.

Approximately 23 Flat Segments & 22 Spacers are installed per metre of shaft
