How plant, sweeper attachments and bristles work together
Here’s how replacement bristles, sweeper attachments and plant such as a Skid steer, Bobcat or Tractor work together.
First, you remove the worn bristles from the sweeper
Second, if your sweeper has a shaft, slide the 1 or 2 piece brush or indeed the sections & spacers onto the shaft
Third, you fit the shaft and new bristles into the sweeper
Finally, attach the sweeper to the skid steer or tractor.
Now the Skid Steer, Sweeper and Bristles work together for sweeping, cleaning, and/or preparing the surface.

For many but not all models of Sweepers, replacement segments, also known as wafers or sections, can be a viable option.

Assuming segments are suitable for your sweeper, for the first order you will need to order spacers. Spacers are inexpensive and you can reuse them. Whereas, Bobcat, CAT and Wolverine sweepers utilise our “Wobbly Brooms”. These have a built in spacing system, therefore you will not need spacers for these makes of sweeper.

Our replacement brooms are available in 6 regular bristle Variations;
Our bristles are 100% Australian made, and are compliant with Australian Standards ISO9001.
Premium Quality Red 0.080, (2mm thick) poly. This 1 and 2 piece All-rounder contains 25% extra bristles when compared to the industry standard Blue & Black Poly brushes. Whereas, the premium quality Red poly sections contain % extra bristles when compared to industry standard Blue & Black Poly Brushes.
The Blue poly bristle is softer and ideally suited where the brush needs to have some give, to contour to the surface being swept
A harder Black poly bristle, often suited to Seal Projects
With the Red, Blue and Black replacement brushes, we can add Wire bristles to achieve an even more aggressive sweep
Spirally wound brushes can be made with all wire bristles, however, they should only be used where a grinding or cutting action is acceptable. Moreover, brushes with poly in them tend to sweep better.
Ultimately, we can customise bristle type, density and toughness to meet your requirements

Drag Brooms
Before Segmental and Spirally wound rotary brooms, Drag Brooms were the “go to” product for road builders. Back then, the bristles were made of cane.
Even now, “Main roads” will from time to time call for Drag Brooms to be used on the final road base preparation.
Likewise, the grain industry utilises Drag brooms.
Drag Broom Sizes and Specifications
Commonly available in 750mm & 900mm lengths.
Drag Brooms have a 90mm wide x 34mm Deep Timber back. All things considered, the design allows them to “slot” neatly into the C channels of your sweeper frame.
The Bristle is 100mm long and comprises an Orange Very Heavy Duty 2mm x 3mm Poly Bristle.
