SAKAI Mats & Brushes

We have 5 tyre cleaning options for Sakai Rollers at 5 separate price points.
Refer to our Industry Guide for Sakai Mats & Brushes; available as a brochure or from our Website.

The word from industry is that the new Sakai Multi tyred Roller is the best innovation the road building industry
has seen in quite some time. The main feature of this machine is that the tyres are much wider than other multi
tyred rollers and the gap between tyres is much smaller which provides the following benefits:

1.  The “Squeezed” Asphalt that forms as a slight peak/ridge
between the front tyres during compaction is not as wide
and is always flattened down by the back wheels

2.  The Sakai effectively is making 2 passes in 1 go,
which speeds up the productivity of this process by 100%

3.  Increases the quality of the road surface, as the final flattening
is not reliant on a super conscientious operator
to flatten down the ridges

KEEPING TYRES CLEAN
These tyres need to be kept free of stones, debris or general Asphalt build-up to enable them to achieve a
premium road surface finish. This is where we come in!

GENERAL NOTE ON USE AND WEAR OF TYRE CLEANERS

The longevity of all options is dependent in large part to the skill of the machine operator to ensure the mats
or brushes are only being used when they are needed.
Changing either Mats or Brushes before they are completely worn out is the key to ensuring they are doing the
job they are intended to do. If the wear factor is not monitored and Mats & or Brushes changed as required this
is likely to result in costly re-rolling of the surface and or defects in the finished road surface.
